Costello, ghosting world champion

Following a secret luncheon with former Prime Minister John Howard on Sunday, Joe Hockey has met with former Treasurer Peter Costello, seeking advice on how to avoid contesting for party leadership until it’s too late. 

With Malcolm Turnbull dumped in favour of the more conservative Tony Abbott, Hockey will undoubtedly remain in the shadows for elections to come, before retiring miserably to the backbench.
