A Houston court was left shell-shocked today amid revelations that several high-profile defense lawyers actually told the truth during hearings.

While often portrayed throughout Hollywood and popular culture as being soulless, cunning and pathological liars, several barristers have confronted the media and admitted to being perfectly honest while representing clients.

The admissions come as used-car salesmen also admit to being frank with customers, advising them not to purchase a wide variety of vehicles due to technical issues, as well as senior politicians admitting they are ‘only in it for the money’.

The recent spate of honesty in the world appears to have also spread within the common household, with divorce rates up 45% in the past week.
